Not decanted, consumed over 2+ hours. This showed very well for us this evening alongside a dinner of salmon, potatoes, and green beans. There's an undercurrent of cherry fruit, but at this point, the wine is more about a warm savory spiciness - a lovely melange of broth, forest floor, roasted veggies. Enough acidity for balance, and a little tannin still evident. A comfortable wine at this stage, and I mean that in the best possible way. 90-91.

Fully ready, quite deveoped nose with red fruit, Spices, and chocolate. Hints of violets, perfume and sous-bois. Medium intensity and a bit rough, regrettably. Even a small hint of soy. Medium body, soft tannins, fully developed. Tasty with a good acidity spine. Good fruit and descent grip. Harmonius, but also a bit lacking in intensity and personality. Slightly anonymous. Fully open and ready, maybe even on the descending curve.

Color seems bricking, but the nose has that spicy, incense, and cherry nose of Vosne. Really nice for village level. Nice primary flavors but grippy, but silky, tannins on the front of the palate. Very nice acid balance bringing out the fruit with a light intensity and a long finish. Very nice. I hazard to guess that it would take some time for the tannins to integrate. (8-10 years?) Think about that - 15-20 yrs from a soft vintage.

Lovely perfume and red fruit on front end with structure but integrated dark fruit subsequently. Seems right in its window.
