Opened one hour in advance. Fragrant aromas of red fruit and cinnamon. Vibrant flavors of cherry and leather. Medium finish. Classic, middle of the road, well made and enjoyable. Good staying power. Ideally there would be more there, but what's there is good.

For the money, a very nice villages level Burgundy Good freshness and purity on the palate but really no finish to speak of. A nice, affordable everyday drinking wine.

Thin and vanishingly short when first opened. More akin to water than wine. However, it did significantly improve over time. After several hours, it developed into something fairly decent, though still not great. Sour cherries initially, a bit of cranberry and raspberry as well. Nose of wet earth and red berries. The nose is the best part of this wine (after some time). Quite tannic and structured. If I had more of this and plenty of cellar space, I'd wait several years before opening another. Funny thing is - the only reason I opened this so early was because of the god awful weird shaped bottle that wouldn't fit properly in my wine fridge and it bothered me to have it wedged in there. :P

Nice red fruit cherry, nice spice, nice minerality & acidity. Nicely
open, drinking pretty well. Nice finish.

Delicate perfume, minerality, elegance and subtle cherry fruit. This is what modest Burgundy is all about. Delicious!
