  • Screwcap.Upon opening there was a very strong nose of aged fruit & forest floor. After the wine had a chance to open up in the glass, there were strong aromas of aged plums & violets.
Taste was of strong fruit/ plums to begin with & a slight cherry finish.Good mid palate, but a shorter than expected finish. No noticeable tannins, having obviously integrated well into the wine.2010 may have been a bit long to leave such a wine;probably should have consumed it 12-6 months ago, but our dish of pasta & cabanossy may not have been too complimentary either.
