Purple color of great depth. Nose is simple: sweet, leaning towards darker fruits. Smooth on the palate, with dark fruits (blackberries) and a touchy spicy; fine-grained tannins.

I have always enjoyed Graves. Gave this about an hour and a half decant, and the flavor was great. Not overly complex, but a good value for a syrah.

No notes taken, but a nice if somewhat ripe more on the side of a cocktail experience. Producer that I will keep an eye on and will buy again.
