  • Tasted over two nights... better second night. Glorious nose of kirsch, candied cherry, talc, palate of sweet red fruits, backbone of cola and long finish with hint of spice. Excellent balance. Drink now!

  • A higher-toned expression of burgundy -- raspberries, etc... The nose was nice with some touches of earthiness along with cherry/berries. The flavor palate was surprisingly acidic for the year; however, was not enough to be overly obtrusive. A medium length finish. A B you want with mid-range savory dishes -- salmon, pork, etc...

  • A magnificent Burgundian nose. Flavor palate is more in the higher register, raspberry arena and missing some "heft" -- and a bit high in acid for my taste, but overall tasty. I keep my cellar cold so the wine still has some tannin, but really is at it's peak. I have one more bottle which I think I'll take to my next Chevalier du Tastevin event to share. Finish is medium long.
