Aroma a bit closed with red berries, pepper, earthy, wet rocks, and a little smoked meat, not to shabby there. Initial attack is pretty nice, quite round and smooth with notes of berries and pepper with a little earth, sadly it stops there. Almost zero mid palette and hallow finish. I'll come back to it tomorrow, but gets a meh for now. With some air, the vacant mid palette and finish showed up a bit more.

Aerate decant and pour. Dark ruby, clear, medium body. On the nose a nice blend of medium bright raspberry, garrigue, juniper, and white pepper. On taste much of the same, with medium acid, firm tannin, medium finish. The herbal and characteristics of this wine help make this stand out among CdR fare. Value is OK at 11 bones.

Still youthful. Good acidity with medium tannins. Rustic; tobacco, dk berries, plum. Could go another couple of yrs.

Lovely wine; notable minerality; balance fruit/acidity; rough tannins will soften with time. Saving my 2nd bottle another 1-2yrs.
