Wish we had more of this. Drank after a good French Santenay. Darker, lusher, fruitier but still with great Pinot refinement. Well structured with a superb finish. Perhaps less funk/ earth on the nose than a typical Oregon Pinot.

Dark and concentrated - delicious Oregon PN, and drinking very well at the moment. Dark translucent ruby purple color; nose of forest, leaves, wood and bourbon barrel, with blueberries and purple plums; lush, tangy dark fruit, not a lot of acidity, with some vanilla and wintergreen notes; perfectly integrated tannins and a lovely, long finish, ending at long last in black cherries. On the darker, richer, softer side of PN - very happy to have found a bottle.

A moderately effusive nose, not too expressive though. This was the first sense that this was an average expression of PN. Taste was smooth, but not complex or layered, mouth feel is light and its finish is quick. Pass on this, go for Sojourn or Sokol Blossner from this vintage.

Good depth, good acidity, classic black cherry favors predominate, some spice and tannins on finish. Had some sediment despite the screw cap lid.
