The 2005 vintage of this wine is outstanding. Period. Fine structure, well balanced acid and fruit, still takes a little time to open up and a little bit heavy on tannins. A very typical St. Emilion, balanced and well crafted. Should even have the potential to improve over the next 1-3 years. Don't let you get mislead by the quality of the 2005. I tasted both 2004 and 2006 and they just don't deliver. But the 2005 is certainly the best St. Emilion you will get for that low price (9,00 €).

Entwickelt sich gut, hat seine leicht rustikale Note verloren. Braucht noch Zeit.
