  Dark ruby color with mild bricking at rim
  Medium plus aromas of plum/ smoke and bitter chocolate
  Medium plus body - palate of red/ black fruit with dried herbs
  Medium plus acidity and medium alcohol - medium plus tannins which were fine grained and quite well integrated - long finish
  Dry glass aromas of smoke and salted plums
  Beautiful wine and epitome of balance at this point
  Drink now or hold 5-7 years as this has the components to improve

  Single blind tasting
  Medium ruby with rim clearing
  Aromatics medium +. Dark cherry, plums, dust, dry herb and dark chocolate. Quite complex nose
  Palate has medium + tannins that are fine, well integrated on the teeth/gums. Acid medium +. Alcohol medium. Cherry, bitter chocolate and a secondary vegetal note.
  Finish has medium length. Well balanced
  Dry glass notes of smoke and dust
  Can drink now, but still has further ageing potential
