Deep garnet in color , giving a medium+ bouquet of black current, plum, black cherry, cinnamon and soft black pepper, with some leather and milk chocolate
On the palate it is dry with medium acid, 13.5% alc and noticeable tannins indicating some aging, and a medium body, the flavours coming through are of soft black fruits plums, black cherry blackberry and some blackcurrants and some slightly unripe strawberry and leatheryness which give the wine a slight sharpness. and a medium+ finish
Overall a good , well made wine . the only quibble I have is the price is a bit too much for the quality delivered

Oddbins French Wine Masterclass - Bordeaux, Loire, Rhone & Alsace (Oddbins Farringdon, London): Nose: cherry, some meatiness, sugary floss/cotton candy oddly enough Mouth: tannin, long dry finish, some acidity and tartness and I got red currants. 13.5%, £19.99. Nice but, for my palate, needs a bit more time. Not really my cup of tea but I acknowledge that this is a nice wine, perhaps a little pricey but shopping around would probably be advisable.

Yep, flat again. Just overall missing too much.

Flat and disappointing. No Bordeaux complexity and somewhat less than medium bodied. Drinkable but boring.
