Good mineral on the nose and quite a bit more on the palate. Compelling fruit profile of pineapple with a hint of green apple. Botrytis adds a smoky nuance and harmonizes well with the mineral component. Acid level doesn't do quite enough to lift the palate, but serves better to drive the medium plus finish. A bit clunky as a cocktail wine and not vibrant enough to be an effortless drinker, but a good profile for Thai food.

(Schloss Schönborn Hattenheimer Pfaffenberg Riesling Auslese Jubilaumswein) Bright medium gold color; intriguing, poised, floral, peach nose with a hint of petrol and a suggestion of vanilla; solid, tart and ripe lemon, mineral, tart peach palate; medium-plus finish

Golden hue, syrupy appearance. On the palate, honey, citrus, but barely any acidity. Frankly, I'm disappointed, this is fairly mediocre
