Served blind. Reported to be an ingredient Rudy used to make Haut Brion. There were guesses all over the world: Rhone, Syrah, Grenache, right bank, Italian... Vintage also ranges from 70s to 2000s. I was thinking Bordeaux blend but it is on the soft side, no strong tannin or even Cab characters. Does need a touch more elegance and stronger core to be Haut Brion, as the wine is quite thin, but ok I see... 88

Aromas of barnyard, earth, berries are followed by flavors of cherry, dark berries and currant. The tannins are well integrated and the wine is drinking at its peak.
