  • Good, easy drinking for $8. Lots of citrus and a tart finish. Definite chemical smell on the nose, but the fruit took over on the palate. Quaff now.

  • Mostly citrus-y nose, somewhat restrained, at least initially. Some chemical notes (petrol, plastic, etc.) present as well, but pleasant nonetheless. Somewhat plush and bigger mouthfeel, but still very pretty and balanced. I prefer a tad more acidity, but at $8 beggars can't be choosers, especially with some age on it.

  • Man, the rubber coming off the nose is intense. Not much else there to smell -- basically lime-soaked gym mat. Oddly, not nearly as off-putting as it sounds. The flavors include lime and chalk, with the star being white grapefruit, pith included. What it lacks in complexity it makes up for in purity and focus. Finish is fairly short save for some lingering grapefruit. Intensely dry and bright. Should improve or hold on for at least a few years yet. Loses points for the nose, but still a solid drink, especially <= $10.

  • Better than my previous bottles. Time has mellowed the plastic odors and rounded it out nicely. Acidity seems calmer, too. Still, I feel as though this was priced correctly at $7 from Last Bottle. And it's fine for that price.

  • Just doesn't taste like a riesling to me. To dry and acidic with lots of lemon and lime flavors. The wife drank most of this.
