Drank over two nights. At opening the wine almost looked prune juice colored, very dark, intriguing for my first taste of this wine. On first taste intense boldness somewhat overwhelming but a fantastic finish. Peppercorn and strong berry taste. Drank beautifully the 2nd night. Dont often see this wine and hope I will find more!

Decanted 30 minutes prior to having with filet mignon. Floral nose with a hint of eucalyptus. Cab blend with 75% being cabernet. Beautiful dark brooding violet color. Tannins are softer and on sweeter side. Medium to full body with a medium finish. Wanted a better finish. Though an enjoyable wine, does not match up that well to price and original hype. Name and poker chip on bottle make it more of a novelty and conversation piece.

Great drink. Actually makes me wish I had waited longer! Great fruit, just enough tannins, and a long finish. A bit of pepper, but not overly spicy at all. I wish I had made better notes on this one (waited 2 weeks to put in the opinion), but I have nothing but praise for this bottle.

Red blend of 76% Cab/13% Malbec/11% Merlot. JAQK is new to Napa scene (launched in 2008). Among the best tasted @ Food Network's 3rd Annual Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival's Grand Market event @ Bally's. Nice packaging of sleek/hip/dark artisan bottle. (92+)

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of rose petals, cocoa powder, smoke, black berries and black cherries. Flavors of black cherries, black berries and a bit of plums on the short to medium finish. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Drink over the short term, maybe medium term.
