  • My last bottle of this, I'm on the lookout for the 2004. Bright yet earthy, I'm still enjoying this quite a bit, though it's starting to fall apart. Drink up, but right now it's still Very Good.

  • This was primarily opened to be used in the meal (a little more than half the bottle), but also to allow for some pre-dinner sipping and to set the stage for the next wine. At DKK 100 (about 16$) it was actually surprisingly good. It had all the classic signs of pinot noir with a sweet nose and a nice elegant light body. Even though it was from Provence it seemed cooler and almost Burgundian in style. This may be contributed to the fact that the vineyard is situated at 500 meters above sealevel. Somewhat shortcoming in terms of nuances, body and aftertaste, but hey what can you expect? Rating: 87+ (and I will gladly drink it again)

  • Still has a great Burgundy nose, may have lost a little bit of fruit and concentration. I would drink up fairly soon, though it's still delicious and a terriffic value. Very Good.

  • Amazing for a 12.00 bottle. Everything great about Pinot Noir without the high price.

  • $12 at Whole Foods. 13%. Annoying extra wide bottle. Though a simple vin de pays, this pinot noir could easily pass for Burgundy. Starting off with a spot-on Burgundian "animal" aroma, it is earthy, light-bodied, light-colored and even a bit complex. Fine tannins. On day two, develops an interesting almost smoky note. Most plain Bourgones don't taste this good, and are more expensive than this terrific value. Very Good.
