First note in ages. Wine long lost in HK to Saigon move shows up, and time for a steak and review. This is a not so light colored blend, real smokey and burnt fruited herb oak on the nose, not in a bad way. A nice table wine, smoked fruit, decent jumpy palate, good acid, oak, fruit balance. Kinda up front, then a rich, briar, herby cdp flavors coming through. Drinking real nice.

An incredible wine, dark berry fruit, earthiness and soft tannins. This bottle was at the peak of maturity.

Better than earlier bottles. A little better balance between acid and fruit. No tannins remained on night 2. Comparable: john Axford.
