Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 88 points

  • APPEARANCE: Not very opaque for a shiraz, low viscosity.
NOSE: A little faint, but what is there reminds me of ripe red plum & cooked raspberry. A nice spicyness: pepper and a touch of smoke.
TASTE: Entry is light on the palate. Nice acidity and medium tannins makes for a refreshing shiraz - fruity and not heavy. However, I found the finish to be on the short side when tasting alone.
PAIRING: Grilled meat (chipotle pork chop) managed to empower it and extend the finish nicely.
NOTE: Preserves well a few days opened - aromas faded but a vibrant fruit taste lasted. Great QPR. [3.75/5]
