    (Domaine Lafond Chateauneuf du Pape) #2; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very intriguing; ham-like; very fruit drive w/ strawberries on tail end; a little tight, but this is very young; a little black pepper coming through as well; PALATE-some nice pepper flavors; very focused, very round; very well made; a pretty rose petal flavor on the back-end; very smooth; good structure; good intense fruit and extremely well made; a terrific blend of strawberry and raspberry w/ a hint of black pepper; the tannins are firm and backbone is structured for longevity (will last 8-12 years), but it's also showing quite well now; RP-91; GV-91
