  • Has the color and viscosity of liquid honey. A speck of cork was in my glass, and rather than floating to the top (as it usually would), it was suspended in the middle like a prehistoric bug caught in amber.

Anyway...very strong nose of sugar cane, honey and violets. The taste of the wine was much more complex. The acidity was quite dulled down, and there was just a hint of harshness on the finish. The wine was delicious though...the sweetness was balanced by a beautiful raciness, like a slate sandwich drizzled in honey.

Great before bed drink! Life would be just fine if I could do this every night.
