Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • A decidedly unctuous wine, but well balanced when served at cellar temperature or slightly lower; when served warmer it tended to veer feel a tad towards cloying. Mouth-coating with bright acidity, and rich stone fruits, and clean botrytis notes. Poached apricots and fresh honeydew melon with honey and petrol drizzled on top. With air some mineral and spicy herbal notes started emerging. Somewhat simple, but enjoyable. Benefited greatly from air. Would decant 1h or so if I had another bottle. AP 14 98
