  Still a fresh and youthful wine which benefited from the declassification of the cuvee des cadettes in 2007. light red color, fruity nose. The full bodied wine needs some air but opens up without decant after 30-45 mins and offers wonderful aromas of dark berries, cassis, some vanilla. Tannins are present in the medium to long, silky finish. Therefore I think the wine will easily make a couple of more years in good condition.

  Very good CNdP.
  Nice fruit, medium body, nice lighter texture, tannins fully integrated, a hint of dryness, wonderful long finish.

  Very good. Took a long time to open but when it did the taste was special. Great old world wine.

  Un excellent vin, toujours en pleine forme avec encore du temps devant lui, à la robe grenat assez profonde, au nez complexe sur le fruit et les épices douces, anisé, le chocolat, la garrigue, une touche terreuse. En bouche c’est souple et rafraichissant, aucune lourdeur malgré ses 14,5% d’alcool, les tannins complètement fondus, tout est intégré et bien équilibré. L’accord va à merveille avec le steak de cerf sauce grand veneur, un repas savoureux et chaleureux parfait pour cette saison d’automne qui regarde vers l’hiver.
