Very dark, nearly black. High solids content. Strong nose, with red fruit, herbs, oak dominating. Good tannic bite, very interesting and enjoyable wine. Perhaps a tad overpriced for Mendoza, but still a better value than California.

Rich nose, but more red berries then black fruits. Some tartness here, with nice acidity. A little oak presence, but the wine can handle it. I find this wine does a very good job of both representing Argentine wines and the Cab Franc grape. It might be a little pricey, but a fun wine to try. 89-90

Strong cab. franc bouquet, green vegetables, herbaceous with underlying fruit. Quite tart with medium body, probably could use a couple of years. Strong finish with sharp tannins and some dried fruit.

Maybe just a touch a work horse at $29 but not too far off. And indeed, just ripped open.
