Glorious aromas of Muscat grape, apricot, orange zest, everything covered in a wave of honey and maple syrup. Fresh yellow fruit balances the sweetness on the palate. Long, haunting finish, nuts, grapeskin, citrus fruit. Drier than other houses, I would also say fruitier, with primary Muscat glory intact. People constantly underestimate the sweeter Sherries: throw your prejudices aside and enjoy the wonderful complexity on display. This specimen is one of the best in its class.

Tasted at the Sampler. Dark caramel in colour. Dried apricots and raisins on the nose with orange zest in the background. Very syrupy and decadent to drink. A sip was enough - too syrupy for me.

Dark brown. On the nose, raisins, dark dried fruits, dates, spices. Palate is very mouth coating, sweet with good acidity.

Very thick, but enough stone fruit and moscatel spearmint in there to keep it fresh.
