I read on Cellar Tracker this wine should be drunk by 2011 so was fearful that it was past its prime. But no - it was drinking beautifully. Fruit was not as bright as it was when it was young but well integrated now with lime, green apple, and mineral notes. Good acidity and length.

Nose of lime, lime leaf, lemon peel, and gravel, with a mild, well-integrated fuel note. Has a full-bodied, weighty, slightly oily mouthfeel, but still tastes very dry: it's dominated by powerful, clean acidity. Flavours of fresh lemon, lemon marmalade, apricot, and mineral water (no fuel note). Good balance, great with food.

NobleRottersSydney - NZTrip - Martinborough (Martinborough): {screwcap, 12%, NZ$16} Sweetly apple-like fruit on the nose, with a touch of sherbert. It’s a very light fruity style, but even with 6g/l of RS I find the acid a bit soft, and the wine consequently a bit flabby in the way a true Kabinett is not.
