  Brought this to the "Wine Guys" lunch in Napa, in my cellar for a while this was a good reason to open it...Slight chill, drank along with an impressive (and large) lineup of Burgundy.
  
  Medium/dark gold color. Nose started out with some matchstick and a bit of funk that dissipated within about 15 minutes...then showing dusted apple, earth notes. Palate showing marinated orchard fruits, baked apples, almonds, spice and some creamy notes. Medium weight and finish.
  
  This bottle has help up well, probably a few years past its peak but still nice to drink. Would drink now.

  3rd Annual Jadot with Frederic Barnier (Booth One - Chicago, IL): Alluring mature nose with aged white fruit, mushroom and earth. Good structure with mature, tiring fruit. Light-to-moderate concentration in the finish. Best in the first 20 minutes of being poured.

  Louis Jadot Dinner with Frédéric Barnier (Booth One - Chicago IL): In Jadot CC vertical. From the same case as a great bottle from a few weeks ago (and a few others from before), this bottle came across as more earthy and slightly dirty vs the others. Still, good density but less precise.
