Broken cork. The wine has lost it’s deeper red hue and looks think, but not brick. The flavor is still there, with the fruit softer but still very present. The wine looks too old but the taste is delicious for those who prefer a softer, more feminine Pinot Noir. Still very California in style.

Blind. Guessed Pinot but struggled with aged California or burgundy. The nose really screams burg but the fruit says California. I decided older Santa Cruz or Anderson Valley because of the balance of tart red fruit.
What? Russian River? Well done, this is an excellent. Not overblown highly concentrated. Elegant.

Popped, poured, and paired with pork with a pluot sauce. Light garnet in color. Bottle was a little cold when opened, so nose was muted, but some red berry and spice. On the palate cherry, raspberry, touch of rhubarb, maybe a bit of strawberry, and spice. Nice acidity. Good length on the finish. Well balanced and lively. Kept getting better as bottle warmed. WesMar is a personal favorite and a great QPR.

Drinking beautifully now & much more open than my previous 3 bottles. Lovely floral and berry aromas with delicious cherry, rhubarb, and spice notes on the palate with a long finish.

Simply awesome. Still has plenty of time. Exact ditto to my previous note in 2012.
