Dense ruby color. Very nice Developed nose of ripe dark fruit, earth, and wet leaves. Mouth of dried sweet plumes with tones of dark chocolate, earthiness and wet leaves. Acidity and body in very good balance. Very nice combo with scalops, smoked moose sausages and root crops

PnP. Garnet color. Cherry and vanilla on the nose. To my surprise, this time I like it much better than in my notes of 11/22/2015. Perhaps my decant last time screwed it up. Medium-to-light bodied cherry fruit on the palate, but it seems balanced this time with the acids. No detectable tannins. Medium length finish is pleasant. Not a great wine, but a good QPR for the $14 which I paid.

Decanted for a half hour; no sediment. Garnet color. Cherry and vanilla on the nose. Light bodied cherry fruit on the palate now outweighed by the acids. No detectable tannins. Medium length finish is more like a lightly cherry-flowered unsweetened lemonade. Probably best drunk soon, and maybe on a picnic where you don't have to pay much attention to the wine.

Unbalanced. Borderline drinkable.
The wine has high acidity.
It smells like cherry.
