had at a larger dinner side-by-side w/ '06. very different between the two. i prefer the '07 as it is just lithe and elegant, and tasting as if it was bottled not too long ago ... the '06 is a bigger wine with more in your mouth, but not as much of the OR-PN experience i love

i had a different 2007 in the last week and it was fabulous (Le Cadeau Rocheux) ... the Ayers is drinkable but probably at its state now - it is in the middle range examples of '07 OR PN.

Pat Kerns Mini Offline (Minneapolis): Nose: Wet cement hints with some vanilla. Palate: Soft wine with cherry flavors. Fairly ordinary on the palate. Would score lower if not for the unique nose. Rumor has it Obama used to hang out with the owner (sorry could not resist the allusion).

this bottle was better than the previous note. palate and mouthfeel were still a little delicate, but seemed to have more substance.

nose was nice, but mouthfeel and finish was really light and not that interesting.
