Nose of lemon, stone, a little organic/smokey dirt and a touch of white pepper. The profile has a nice medium bodied - somewhat rich - fruit to start and a brighter more acidic citrus fruit finish. To add balance there is a some peppery structure to stimulate the mouth and extend the finish. This is a very nice wine.

First Long Island wine I have tried. While it will not compete with the best from NZ or the Loire, a nice wine. Good acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Not much by way of complexity or finish.
