Bottle 111/1499- Slow oxed for 5 hours before serving. Floral with citrus, perfume, red currant, stems, and coffee beans. Very expressive but probably prem cru weight and complexity on the palate at this stage. Still a very charming and seductive Leroy. 92-93

This was so closed on day one that we corked it up after having one glass and saved the rest to see what it did on day two. And the answer was not much. Restrained nose of dark fruit, spice some mineral and a tar note. The palate was narrow, seemingly thin and focused and tight red and black fruit. Very nice energy and tension, but this needs time to unwind. I'm sure the score will improve.

Nose full of roses and pomegranate; super intense fruit; crunchy berries, with a long saline finish. Terrific.

Friday after Thanksgiving (FAT) - Part 1 - Burgundy 2006 (Palm Beach Gardens FL): Small taste, brief note. Black and red fruit, also showing lots of Vosne styled spice. Burly and firmly structured from middle to finish. Needs more time.
