This is a seriously classy, polished red Burg of great depth and perfume. It has intense cherry fruit and engaging floral spice. There’s serious minerality just below the flesh and it is a wine that is so harmonious and complete.

2006 Romanee-Saint-Vivant, my 2nd time since a new year eve and still showing a truly scent of terroir, almost no Leroy's flower, great structure, round, firm, delicious with a serious and powerful aftertaste. 98/100

[IWFS-Vic DRC Montrachet, Various RSV & d'Yquem Dinner at Vue de Monde] Medium dark to dark crimson-purple. Black cherry bouquet imbued with scents of violet & rose, mineral, spice & toast. Full, deep, intense, energetic, vibrant, mineral-infused, spicy black fruit flavors; fair amount of soft ripe tannins, dry extracts & fine acidity in superb integration & impeccable balance, culminating in an extraordinary wine of radiant beauty with ineffable finesse. Very long, fine, racy finish.

The wine is stunning !!
Charming nose of terroir at the beginning then perfume and after 3 hours becomes Leroy's flower.
Very delicious with the full-dimensions aftertaste, very powerful and a very long finish.
Super enjoyable to drink it side by side with 2006 La Tache on the New Year Eve dinner.

Friday after Thanksgiving (FAT) - Part 1 - Burgundy 2006 (Palm Beach Gardens FL): Small taste, brief note. Open an hour before tasting. Ripe red fruit, huge spice. Prototypical Vosne Grand Cru, truly alluring in every way. Drinking beautifully already.
