Maybe past its prime. Still dark brick in color but not much left in the bottle. Aroma of cherry is there however weak. good Bing Cherry and raspberry flavors are there but again... weak. Thin texture and little to no finish. Good just not great.

Review: This 2006 Merlot has a medium ruby color. Aged for 15 months in American and French oak with 25% new oak. I get aromas of plum, black cherry, violets, oak, tar and scorched earth. Pickup some subtle burnt circuit board and sweaty sock. Flavors of plum, currant, sour cherry and oak on the palate. To much oak on the finish. Medium, rounded Tannins with low acidity.
