Decanted for about half an hour, needed more. As we went through the bottle the fruit emerged. Initially the nose was of dark plum and licorice. These flavors stayed around but tart pie cheery jumped in and some tangy spice on the sides of the tongue came out. Pleasant bottle of wine.

(Kontos Cellars Alatus Blend Columbia Valley) Again, light nut aromas mark the nose. Taste is tart and upfront but quite enjoyable. 33% Cab Franc; 33% Cabernet; 33% Merlot.
