Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • This wine looks pretty oxidized, but in the nose, the wine is very much alive. Aromas of bruised apples, crushed rock/steely mineral, tangerine, and like a waxy/lanolin sort of smell. In the mouth, the wine is still vibrant and juicy. Fuller bodied with loads of red apples and a sort of like an artificial vitamin C/citric acid thing going on, canned fruits. Pretty simplistic, but really good- the wine is very persistent in the mouth, filling with a nice mouth coating juiciness, but that acidity just washes it off to keep it from getting too cloying. Super tasty stuff. From a 375ml.
