Oregon vs. Burgundy Single Blind (Tilia, Mpls): Lighter -Medium red color. PNP, drank 1 glass blind over 90 minutes. This was great and part of the flight of the night and my #2 WOTN. I thought this might be the Thomas, but alas i was wrong. The Lignier was rocking it with really nice red fruits, fine leather, forest floor, and elegance - just great. I keep loving the '07 red burgs - they are really drinking well.

Same bottle as Chablis28; served single blind. Popped just before 6 PM got to this 2~2.5 hours later. Completely blown away by this. Elegant wine, plenty of interest with forest floor, cherry/strawberry, mushrooms, and a mineral core. So pretty.

Paler translucent crimson red with some bricking on the edges. We tasted single blind and if it had been double blind I would have guessed this as either a '91 or '96 Burg. Great forest floor perfuse nose! High toned tart red fruit, lovely forest floor, mushroom and mineral. Lacy, elegant, ethereal and focused. Exactly what I want from Burgundy! Best of all drinking great with only a little over 8 yrs in the btl. ??? The label is boring corporate modern but, the wine drinks like old school, hands off, old vine, Burgundy. Very cool and intellectual! Planted in 1954, 50% whole cluster, cold maceration before fermentation. 12 months aging in oak barrels (30% new), 3 months settling in tank, unfiltered.

Bright red and clear in the glass, with rose colored rim. All Pinot on the nose with abundant raspberry, strawberry, charcoal, and faint violet notes. Same notes on the palate, supported by elegant, silky, and firm structure. Long, smooth strawberry, pine needle finish. Very good, high quality Burgundy Pinot.

2007 Pinot Noir from Baden & Bourgogne (Home): Transparent light red, watery towards the edges. Very light and airy in the nose, high toned fruit, raspberry, strong floral notes and earthy undertones. Very elegant. On the palate, it's light, but it's got great structure, fine acidity, clear fruit, raspberry again. It's juicy and mouthwatering. Excellent.
