  Delightful. Velvety, delicious 'robe'. Funky fruit. Long ++ Could not be more Gevrey if it tried. On the palate enormously long. Super wine, despite the less than stellar vintage.

  Quand on hésite entre Volnay "Santenots", Chambolle ou un Gevrey sur la finesse, il se pourrait que ce soit un Charmes non? Et c'est peut-etre à cause du millésime, plus léger, que nous ne sommes pas allés sur un grand cru.
  Le nez séduisant comportait un bouquet de fruits rouges mûrs et acidulés, assez éloigné du style floral de l'Arlaud par ex. C'est assez profond, ca pinote allègrement, bref, c'est joliment fait.
  La bouche ne montre aucune aspérité, c'est très fin, le boisé est fondu, et l'on se dit que c'est un joli village voire premier cru, ce qui plus tard nous fera dire que pour un grand cru, il en manque un peu...
  Le vin se goute donc très bien, et même s'il pourra se laisser en cave encore 4/5 ans, pas sûr qu'il y gagnera beaucoup tant son profil fin et suave est accompli aujourd'hui.
