Lots of red and black cherry with the baking spice I expect from Vosne, even if not quite Grand Cru density. Fun ans forward, perhaps still showing a bit too much new oak character that isn't unpleasant, but will never get fully absorbed.

Casual Burg Dinner with Friends (The Bristol - Chicago IL): This was more of a great bottle of Pinot Noir than a wonderful bottle of Grands-Echezeaux. Easy to enjoy, but if served blind I would never have identified the terroir. Unquestionably tasty, but a bit monolithic, with a bit too much new oak that hasn't fully absorbed.

Showing excellent finesse. A hint of stem, flowers and vosne spice. Medium weight, typical palate of the 07, i.e. a bit hollow middle palate. Young but enjoyable in typical 07 way.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Colicchio & Sons - New York NY): Tasted in 07/08/09 vertical, brief note. Good cross-section of red, black and blue fruit with baking spice throughout. Very good now, but I expect slightly more nuance will develop with more time in the cellar.
