  • Light ruby red. Some light and bright red fruit. Nice earthy aromas, and some toasted notes after swirling. Inviting nose. Good fruity start, good body, good smooth strucutre, good enjoyable tannins and acidity. Nice peppery finish. Overall good. Very good QPR.

  • At an Italian restaurant in Brussels where I simply ordered a caraff of the house wine I encountered this excellent wine. As herbal in its character as a decent red from Chinon, and as full bodied and structured as a good right bank Bourdeaux, this wine was a pleasant surprise at around 6 euros for a half bottle. Go buy immediately if you can find it!
