This showed really nicely. Pretty, red-fruited, floral, and soil tones. Fresh, feminine, and persistent rather than forward. Far, far better than most 06 Pinot from California but certainly smaller-scaled than its 2007 version.

Nose of roses, some strawberries, cherries and citrus. Ligh body and color, but very juicy with a log finish and fine tannins. A very nice wine, and quite a surprise. This is around 89pts but I give it an extra point for being so light and yet some complex and interesting.
