Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 85 points

  • Pleasant surprise. Delicious in a 2000 style, with round dark plummy flavors, tannins pretty much resolved, some freshening acidity still present through the midpalate and finish. I bought this singleton on release as part of a mixed case to get some Richebourg and Clos Vougeot - I kind of wish there had been a couple more bottles in the case....
    My discrete CT scale: 95-extraordinary; 90-very good; 85-good; 80-fair; 75-poor

  • Some tea leaf, weak fruit, lots of alcohol and tannin. Not going to get any better, probably over the hill now.
