  60 ouvrees - en caillerets. Vegatal and animal nose. Usually these aroma's dominate, not this time. Beautiful aromas of red fruits / strawberry in this 15 year old wine. The palate is superb. Soft balanced explosion if red fruit. Full body will an extremely long finish. Wow!

  Decanted 90 minutes. More impressive aromatics than last tasting. Truly fantastic Volnay. Palate lives up to the amazing nose. Drink in 5 years if you have willpower.

  Outstanding nose of candied cherry, strawberry, rose petals--really opened up at 2 hours. Palate of candied cherry, strawberry, rose petals, elegance, elegance, elegance, great balance. Still quite young, showing no maturity yet, can cellar 3-5+ years easily.
