Tasted from MAG...the nose shows dark fruit, minerality and lots of bramble and spice. The palate is medium+ bodied, showing a nicely polished, mature and smooth character. There is some mineral character, and a bit of acidity on the finish. This is tasty and mature but a bit generic - it could be a minerally CA merlot or Cab as much as it is a S Rhone Mourvèdre. Overall it is tasty and I imagine that 750's are ready to go.

Ruby red. Gorgeous inky, licorice, red berry and tar, very fragrant. Rich and smooth, long and with lots of silky fine tannins. Crisp acid too. Taken on an earthy flavour, blueberry and violets too. Just delicious.

No problems with this bottle: lush, deep fruit, brambly and briskly acidic, it seemed both young and vigorous. A bit too primary for my tastes, with little of the expected Mourvedre funk, but a far cry from tired or oxidized.

Hmm, possibly a bad bottle? Dried stewed fruit, oak quite noticeable, very ripe and earthy, not much fun.
