Better last year. But it was a great qpr for 10+ years. ...Update, after almost a week corked in fridge, surprisingly accessible and enjoyable. Although enjoyable when opened, better over next few days.

Deep red with purple glints. Lots of black plum, graphite and wild herbs with balancing acidity on nose and palate. Drying tannins emerge after 20 minutes of air to add to all the fruit.. Love this.

Enjoyed with family and new friends and the best bbq brisket ever. Deep red, with some bricking. On the palate, plums, graphite, and hint of briary red fruits. Still some upside if I can keep myself from opening my last two bottles. Better when poured after pulling the cork three hours earlier.

Better after 60 minutes open in bottle when some drying tannins added to briary red fruits. Warming and full bodied Aussie. Still red-purple colored after 12 years.

Slightly astringent with some underlying briary fruit. Still deep burgundy to rim with no bricking.
