PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs, bottle from secondary market -nearly semi-translucent med red, minimal bricking -gentle red fruit sour berry -barely med acidity, med/med- weight lean soft squishy saline faded red fruit bitter mineral finish with med- tannins -this is OK and drinking probably as well as it is going to, typical for the vintage in that it lacks some structure though also lacks charm, this bottle is somewhat austere but not rustic and not quite as good as a bottle opened last year

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs, bottle from secondary market -semi-translucent light red mild bricking -Burg funk cinnamon rhubarb -med acidity, light weight surrounded by dusty rhubarb-y sousbois extract finishes with a tangy bright note with trace heat and med- tannins -interesting good complexity characteristic for the vintage firmly on its mature plateau with no hard edges, quite nice

An enjoyable wine with quite a relatively big fruity body. Also with some nice spicy nuances in the finish. Good length. A have one more 2007 and will probably save it three more years.

Had expected more maturity and friut. Rather thin in the middle with high acidity but grew in the combination with food (porchetta, roast potatoes, gravy). A weak bottle?

A soft Pommard. Delicious and went well with dinner- a riff on Helen Rosner's roast chicken with cabbage. No reason not to drink now.
