A very sad ending because that is my only bottle and I nearly cried when the bottle is done. Very zesty lemon upon open. Color is also lemon like yellow. Mouth feel is rich with little butter like. Fairly sweet. 1 hour later became a bit chalky and the minerals showed up.
A very enjoyable experience!

Tons of malolactic with lemon pledge on the nose. Very smooth and fruity, but definitely still some oak on the palate. Lemon zest and a hint of butter and vanilla to go with muted blueberry.

Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of matchstick, yellow pears and wet stones. Flavors of yellow pears, creme and hazelnut. Medium acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

Drank over a relaxed home-cooked dinner of pasta in a white asparagus, tomato, white wine, scallops and New Zealand black cod sauce. Very light lemony gold colour. Nose is gorgeously precise fresh crisp ozone and flinty minerals with a hint of melted butter. Palate is oyster juice, oyster shells and fresh lemon juice with the pips in it.......and some fresh white asparagus and slate-like minerality. Good length and impressive resonance in the head for a 1er Cru........all very young and extremely refreshing. This already pays for itself in the drinking pleasure it delivers today but I suspect it will improve even more in the next few years.
