  8 years after bottling, and 6 years since the most recent prior note, and this bottle is drinking very very well. The color is good. The wine is in balance with acidity and mouthfeel. The aromas are subtle but present and compelling. I don't have too much experience with California Sauvignon blanc yet, but this wine serves an indication of good things. Very good things.

  Nice wine. Was recently introduced to Ladera, gave this a try. I wish this wasn't my only bottle. Crisp, smooth, clear, hits the palate nice and delivers a continuation of different flavors. Hint of grapegruit, apples, maybe peach. All subtle and refreshing. Finishes nicely, it's strong but not overbearing.
