Tarragon motherfucker. Initially offensive sweaty and leathery aromas came round to lovely deep salad haute cuisine. There's definitely some Epoisses toe funk begging palate exploration. Deep garnet-ruby color with good clarity sporting nice tight and slow legs. Slight hints of dryness faded with time in glass. The alcoholic heat dissipated and left behind fresh olive oil, lime and chocolate. I'd bet there's some petit Verdot and cab franc in here. Bae made steak au poivre tonight and it worked out well.

Very sweet nose. Inside nicely styled, very ripe, full-bodied wine held together by a fine tannnic grip that will let it age nicely. Great mouthfeel, typical of Behrens & Hitchcock wines with a hint of mint on the mid palette. Long interesting finish and a very upbeat positive buzz from half-a-bottle!

A little off balance but still nice. Probably should hold other bottle.
