Bright straw color, as stated on the web site. However, we did not perceive the nuances described on the site (which I checked out afterward); what was overpowering was the fresh citrus aromas--pleasant, but based on the several other Torrontés we've tried recently (our new favorite white grape), we were expecting more. The acidity was decent, but again, we've had two others that we better. So from our first encounter with gadabout oenologist Michel Rolland, we were not overly impressed. However, the wine was definitely worth the $5 we paid for it at Grocery Outlet--just not double or triple that, as is the case with some of the outstanding bargains you find there.
