Same as last bottle: Plum, a little strawberry, sweet tobacco, and a little vanilla. Medium weight, very drinkable, slightly hollow. There seems to be a lot of variation in these bottles.

Much better than the last bottle. Dark garnet-purple color. The nose has plum, cassis, sweet tobacco, some savory herbs. The fruit is a little more restrained in this bottle. Balances well with the structure. Medium-full palate. Very easy drinking, goes well with food.

(Cameron Hughes The Flying Winemaker Tempranillo) #4; COLOR-dark; NOSE-almost a burnt ash component; black currant and blackberry; some mulberry as well; bright fruit as well w/ some sweetness; PALATE-fantastic black pepper on the mid-palate, but falls off on the finish; wild berry flavors; good black tea meets pepper meets wild berry; a little fluffy (meaning not totally focused); I don't love it, but I don't hate it; great Thursday night Pizza wine, but wouldn't rush out to date this on a Saturday night; GV-85

Not much on the nose. Tannins still overpower. Nice mouth feel. Flavor profile is somewhat simple. Better in a year or two?
