  Certainly at its peak, but an elegant Pauillac to be sure. Soft tannins, plums on the palate, a wisp of smoke on the nose. Really fine.

  Still alive and kicking, this is drinking well straight from the bottle. Everything is integrated and fully mature. As to its longevity I would hope it has a few years left at this level.

  A lovely Bordeaux, at its prime I suspect. Not sure it will continue to improve but it is la fantastic food wine with plum, pepper, fine-grained tannins and a lingering finish that is nicely balanced between fruit and mineral notes. Perfect with flank steak and rosemary sweet potatoes.
